Best Way to Sell a Guided Meditation
First record it. Recording it on a professional mic is best. You MUST lay down some background music to fill the empty spaces. If you don’t have access to a sound studio, other good options are recording yourself on a high quality telephone seminar line. and Instant Teleseminar and Maestro Conference have excellent sound. Have someone read your bio as an intro. (But don’t let it sound like reading.)
Get fabulous design work for the disk and jewel case. People DO judge a product by its cover. My favorite designer is Colleen McGunnigle at www.designbymuse.com. She’s redesigning all my products.
Produce it: http://www.kunaki.com is the cheapest and quickest CD duplication company I’ve seen. (And it’s the company to use if you ever want to offer a free CD on your site as an ethical bribe to get people onto your mailing list.)
The most challenging piece is the marketing. And it’s your primary job as a coach. I don’t know how selling the script will affect your sales. At least don’t sell the script without requiring they buy the CD as part of a bundle. And be sure to charge enough for the script, because the script is taking away customers who might have bought your CD.
And make your script customers affiliates. They can sell your CD as a take-home to their clients (major added benefit) AND profit from selling for you.
Let’s get to selling: establish yourself as an expert.
1) Come up with ad copy and BULLET POINTS that define the BENEFITS of this meditation.
2) Start doing joint ventures with other people who would like to have you as a guest on their teleclass. Make them affiliates so they can profite from promoting you.
3) Post testimonials EVERYWHERE.
4) Build a funnel: what are you already offering for free? (And don’t you dare tell me you coach for free!)
5) Learn how to sell for the benefit of your clients, customers, and website visitors.

This was very timely for me. I’m in the middle of moving my radio show to another address and expanding the show. I’m looking for ways to improve the production quality and offer a product to my listeners.
Thanks for all the information. I love the radio and have lots of fun putting meditations together for myself and the listeners. Anyway to make it better is welcome.
