Question:                        Hi Morgana, I am a fan of your work and of the “money honey” idea. Here is my question: How do you go about attracting and then courting your Money Honey, when you are on the verge of foreclosure and will be filing bankruptcy? In other words, how do I start over with money when I’ve allowed my Money Monster to ruin me financially? I find myself this situation and it feels like I’m in a dark dungeon surrounded my my money monster and all his money demon friends and I just don’t see how I can even start a new relationship with Money Honey, let alone find him. I wish I would have found your website a long time ago before I got myself in this mess, because I am not sure how I’ll see myself out. Do you have any advice for those in similar situations wanting to find the Money Honey of their dreams, while dealing with the effects of the Money Monster?

My response:                        Congratulations! This is a perfect time to CHANGE your relationship with money. You’re connected to the fear and pain of your unhappy relationship with money.  This is the easiest time to get in touch with your “Money Monster” and make its presence REAL for you. The deeper you take yourself in the fear, panic, and despair of your present relationship with money, the more you’ll experience a powerful transformation. The process doesn’t work until you eradicate your Money Monster, and you really need to “get” your monster before you can get rid of it.

There’s no need to “court” your Money Honey: he’s already there. But he’s waiting for you to choose him over your monster.

The fabulous thing about my Relationship with Money work is that it constantly evolves.

Any trap, pit, or problem that could cause a client trouble has come up or it will… and the process gains a new nuance every time.

One concern I’ve seen popping up in the last few months is around the idea of “What? Now I have another person to please? Ewwww!”  That’s NOT how this works! And that’s why I was so glad to see this question come in:

“I have a question I’ve been trying to get my head around. If my “money
honey”  [new personified relationship with money] withdrew every time
I didn’t listen to her needs, wants and desires, then I would find myself in a
relationship with a very fickle and demanding, controlling person…. NOT what
I would want in real life (or I guess for my Money Honey). What am I
missing?” Gary

Bravo Gary for naming the problem! What you’re missing is NEW relationship with money!

“Fickle, demanding, and controlling” are spot-on descriptions of a Money Monster. In fact, and I’ll go way out on a limb here… these may also be descriptions of YOU in your relationship with money! Is it possible that you’re being fickle, demanding and controlling when you ignore and disregard your money?

What’s missing here is LOVE, TRUST, ROMANCE… and an understanding of your power in this relationship. The ball is always in your court. YOU drive the relationship.

Keeping that new money relationship alive and present–in the face of the news, life’s challenges, other peoples’ money monsters, and the unfortunate fact that your personified Money Honey is imaginary and not physically present… that’s the challenge we all face to keep the magic, love, and money coming.

It’s a burning question that comes in from my VIPs, my clients, and myself.

Sarah Hoskin Clymer

The biggest, most troubling issue of my life has been with money. I have read books, gone to workshops, done “prosperity work”, said affirmations, and worked on my issues with money for years. Nothing changed, and I felt like I never got even close to the crux of what was going on.

And then I came across an email that shared about Financial Alchemy™. Before I knew it, I was impulsively going to the website and signing up to receive some materials and a session. What was I doing?! I mean, what was I doing spending money…spending more money to understand money?

Thank God I did. It was in listening to the Financial Alchemy CDs, doing the exercises in the workbook, and having a session with Morgana (or a Financial Alchemy coach) that I finally got it… I finally understood that I was in an abusive relationship with money, and that it was my relationship that was the issue. I was in relationship that was based on shame and pain. So no wonder everything I did to “improve” my relationship with money only ended up with my feeling even more pain and shame.

Through Financial Alchemy, I was able to create a whole new relationship with money. This relationship not only allows me to show up as a wealthy, empowered, successful woman, but gently demands it. And this has in turn rippled out into every area of my life so that I am now a wealthy woman in every sense of the word!
