Net worth is not worthiness…

I take coaching applications very seriously, and I review each one carefully. Both for what’s on the page and what I pick up intuitively.

And if I say no, it’s not a question of worthiness.

I want EVERY client to be a success story. The feedback I post at www.alchemysuccess.com is just the TIP of the iceberg… just the stuff that arrives by email, from people who give me permission to post, and who write things that I can break down into convenient soundbites.

I only want happy clients.

Working with me is a big commitment. Because I am HUGELY committed to you, and you have to match my commitment, at the very least. This is necessary for your own empowerment and magic.

Sometimes when I read an application I sense a possibility in you that you may not see in yourself, and I’ll ask you to fill out an in depth questionnaire and offer you a complimentary assessment interview.

And sometimes I’ll feel this isn’t the right time for us and I’ll suggest actions you can take to move you forward without investing at the private coaching level. Occasionally someone gets really upset that they didn’t get a free coaching session.

Invest at the level that you can…that prevents you from being a helpless victim, and me appearing to be the magical savior.

And that’s why I shot this video yesterday. (Pardon the poor focus!)

I’d love to get your feedback.

Mists of Morgana

Mists of Morgana

You don’t have to call yourself a magician, mystic, psychic, priestess or wiccan to be magical. Every wish, prayer, business plan, and affirmation carries magic. The question is, how do you get better at making things happen?  How do you increase your experience of abundance and prosperity?

My mother introduced me to my awareness of magic. No one casts a circle or leads a ritual like she can!  As I got older and made my own way, I found ritual magic became less effective for me. There was almost a feeling desperation, a forcing quality when I would set up my altar and call in the directions. (As if they aren’t already there?) Most importantly, I noticed it didn’t seem to be working.

That doesn’t mean the magic stopped. I believe things work for you until they stop working,  (more…)

“How do you attract money when you NEED it?”

Monday, January 17th, 2011

flying-moneyHere’s the question that came in:

How do you attract money when you really, really “need” it (as in, you could lose your home if it doesn’t come quickly)….as opposed to just desiring more? My understanding is “need” represents “lack” and then you get more “lack”….but when the need is quite serious, what do you do?

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say sometimes you really, really need money, and you NEED it quickly! To pretend everything’s cool–when your house is about to go on the block–is insane.

Mastering Magic: How to Make Things Happen

To each his own magic...

To each his own magic...

You don’t have to call yourself a magician, mystic, psychic, priestess or wiccan to be magical. Every wish, prayer, business plan, and affirmation carries magic. The question is, how do you get better at making things happen? How do you manifest more abundance and prosperity?

My mother introduced me to my awareness of magic. No one casts a circle or leads a ritual like she can! Maybe it’s because she’s my mother, or because she’s a triple Leo, or because she has a special talent for it, but there always seems to be stronger magic when she plays High Priestess.

I believe things work for you until they stop working, and that’s a sign to move on. I noticed magic happening in other ways. I’d have a casual thought like “I think it’s time for _____” or “I’d like to _____” or “I want a _____” or “Wouldn’t it be nice if _____?” Soon the object of my desire showed up.

The “I Can’t Afford It” Antidote

Friday, November 12th, 2010

Next time you catch yourself about to say, “I can’t afford it,” pause.

It’s bad magic. It feeds your money monster.

“I can’t afford it” blames money, makes money the bad guy, and takes away your power. It makes you small. It’s like fresh meat for your monster.

My friend Chellie Campbell, author of “The Wealthy Spirit,” (great book) taught me an awesome reframe years ago, that I love to share with clients, friends, non-clients, and that I try to practice myself.

Instead of “I can’t afford it,” say, “It’s not a financial priority for me at this time.”

Feel the difference?

Even if you’re silently saying to yourself, “My financial priority this month is paying my rent!” owning it is honest and powerful. It makes you responsible. Puts you in charge. And you’re Money Honey loves it when you’re in charge!

Here’s a little mea culpa confession…

I caught myself saying “I can’t afford it” just last month. It’s so easy! Especially for us polite, people-pleaser types.

A coach I admire and respect invited me to take her program. I smiled, talked about how much I’d already spent on coaching this year, and told her I couldn’t afford it.

It was a lie! It would’ve been a pain to come up with the cash, and I did spend an awful lot on coaching this year, but the real truth is I wasn’t motivated enough.

I think I said “I can’t afford it” because I wanted her to like me. (Can anyone relate?) It was such an easy out. And it was completely out of integrity with everything I teach.

I had to come clean and tell her the truth. And you know what? I discovered that area of my life–the subject she teaches–really ISN’T a priority for me at this time! So I learned a little something about myself as well…

***************************

P.S. Here’s a little magic for when you find that you really, really WANT something and you don’t see where the money’s going to come from…

Replace “I can’t” with “How can I?”

Replace “I am struggling” with “I am resourceful.”

I saw one of my students manifest $8,000 OVERNIGHT when she changed her language! Her language changed what she created. She awed and amazed us both.
