I do not however put it up on board, but I am feeling so much better, Ive been in business only for four years however I have never written a business plan because I feel I go with what comes up and needs to be address. What I basically do is the "todo" list and for Long term a "Must remember" to implement list,which I do for anything I want to do to improve the business etc. I am so glad I read your sticky note business plan, that is essentially what I do. It is fun, visual, easy to change, change, delete or add to. I teach people that writing a Business Plan is like writing the "story of your business". It helps people who are new to business relax and really think about what about their business they are passionate about. A Business Plan is a living document that grows and evolves as your business grows and evolves. It never needs to be concrete or complete. I love the idea of using sticky notes for business planning.
