Overnight Money Manifestation

Last week I sent you the new relationship with money-as-John Travolta story. (Read “John Travolta Loves You” on my blog.) The very next day a new one came in.

This is why I love my job. I want you to read beyond the dollar amounts and listen for the happiness and optimism and new relationship to life. THAT’S what this is really about:

“Dear Morgana,

I just have to tell you this. I listened to the teleclass you did last night — found out about it an hour before it was scheduled, felt moved to attend.

Wow. Wow wow wow wow. I haven’t even done the Money Monster exercise yet, but for some reason I totally connected with the idea of the Money Honey and got mine right away, plus an action to take.

I took that action last night (set some financial boundaries with my adult children) and this morning two things happened.

“Hi Morgana-Hope this is not too long…just had to share! I listened to your talk yesterday on Money Monster/Money Honey-also listened a week early-both were the Maestro Call. Here are my results:

Last night, I asked my Money Honey what I should do to have more of him in my life. He showed up dressed like John Travolta in the Saturday Night Fever white suit. I couldn’t figure out what was going on…but each time I tried to picture him in different clothes-he changed back into the white suit. So-I gave up and let him dress as he pleased.

Anyway-he told me that the next thing to do was to go to the bank in the morning, and deposit some money from one of my checking accounts to the other. I thought “OK”. And thanked him for stopping by…said ‘adios’.

We have been struggling to collect money from many of our clients right now-and I was feeling a little panicked because I didn’t have enough funds to cover our payroll due to our employees on Friday. We had been contacting our clients who were ‘past due’…but hadn’t been making any progress. So…this morning, at about 10:20, I left work to go to the bank. I put the deposit into the ATM machine, and walked back to my car. Turned on the car-and SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER was playing on the radio. At first it didn’t ‘click’ with me-but then all of a sudden, I started laughing out loud-I thought “what a synchronicity”!

Then-I went to order a coffee for an employee that I had promised to pick up on my way back. As I was waiting for the coffee, I got an email from one of our clients. They were paying us EARLY on a project we just invoiced for! (five figures) They were paying the SAME DAY that we invoiced-and were overnighting the check! The amount of the check WILL EASILY COVER OUR PAYROLL-and the money wasn’t due to us for 45 MORE DAYS!!

The time on my deposit slip is 10:35 AM….the time the client emailed me to tell me about the early payment is 10:37 AM.!! TWO MINUTES!!

I still can’t believe it-I’m in awe :)

Note to the reader: the first time I read this I laughed, clapped, and shrieked a little. The second time I cried because it makes me so happy to read.

First record it. Recording it on a professional mic is best. You MUST lay down some background music to fill the empty spaces. If you don’t have access to a sound studio, other good options are recording yourself on a high quality telephone seminar line. and Instant Teleseminar and Maestro Conference have excellent sound. Have someone read your bio as an intro. (But don’t let it sound like reading.)

Get fabulous design work for the disk and jewel case. People DO judge a product by its cover. My favorite designer is Colleen McGunnigle at www.designbymuse.com. She’s redesigning all my products.

Produce it: http://www.kunaki.com is the cheapest and quickest CD duplication company I’ve seen. (And it’s the company to use if you ever want to offer a free CD on your site as an ethical bribe to get people onto your mailing list.)

Morgana’s Life Coaching Tip: Overcoming Resistance

Here’s a question I came across from another life coach:

“Can anyone recommend some really good ideas, techniques, resources for helping clients identify the core of their resistance and helping them move beyond it?”

Here’s my response:

The source of your life coaching client’s resistance is your failure to establish rapport. You are pushing too fast or not fully respecting and validating your client’s experience. YOU are resisting THEM.

One of the core precepts of neuro linguistic programming–one of the more interventionist forms of life coaching–is that resistance is a signal that the coach has lost rapport with the client.

Back up to the last time you were in sync and FOLLOW the client until you re-establish rapport.
